"Park" is the feature debut of the Greek director Sofia Excharchou, which premiered at the San Sebastian 2016 Film Festival, earning the "New Directors Award" at the World Film Festival. Polish-Greek co-production of its festival premiere in Poland was held at the Warsaw Film Festival in 2016. The film has been shown at many international festivals, where both the director-debutant for "new look" and the new release of Greek cinema (including the Hellenic Film Academy Award 2017, Geneva International Film Festival 2016, Créteil International Women's Film Festival 2017) as well as actress Dimitra Vlagopoulou (Thessaloniki Film Festival 2016).
Polish accents in the film include unique photographs by Monika Lenczewska, DI Factory's participation in post-production and co-producer Madants, headed by Klaudia Śmieja and Beata Rzeźniczek.
Athens, an abandoned Olympic village. Left alone teenagers, injured and retired young athletes, or stray dogs. The 16-year-old Dmitris notoriously escapes through the fence while visiting tourist enclaves in the south of the city.
